For Men

Resurrection Power manages two houses for men, Trinity House and Serenity House.

They are places for healing, personal growth, and skill development. They are safe, supportive, structured, and spiritually focused places for 12-step recovery.

While you are here:

  • Resurrection Power provides a family-like atmosphere.
  • You are permitted to take one overnight per week after 30 days in the house.
  • We encourage family reunification, allowing children under the age of 12 to stay at the house 2 nights per week.
  • Clean and sober family and friends are allowed to visit.
  • Residents learn to be self-sufficient and ready for life without drugs and alcohol.

It has been said that connection is the opposite of addiction.  At Rez, I've not only formed strong connections with family, friends, and the community, but I have also found and grown a connection with my Lord and Savior. By His grace, I have a beautiful and rewarding life today.

Our Process

Please note that not everyone is accepted or the right fit for our program, and we will tell you that.  We are often full and may require you to be placed on a waitlist.

1 Ask yourself if the following statements are true

  • You have experienced painful consequences from addictive behavior.
  • You want sobriety to be your number one priority.
  • You are open to change and willing to take direction from others.
  • You identify spirituality as vital for their recovery process.
  • You are willing and able to be employed, return to school, or work full-time as a volunteer with a community group.

2If you answered yes to the questions above, complete a housing application

Apply online or download the PDF application — once complete please email it to info@rezpowerpa.org

3Once you are approved:

You will participate in an Interview — Meet with the Executive Director, Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS), or a House Lead. This interview helps us assess your suitability, motivation, and readiness to commit to the recovery process.

We will do a background check — For the safety and well-being of our community, we require all applicants to undergo a background check.

You will review and understand program guidelines — Carefully read through the Resident Handbook and house rules. Understand the expectations and responsibilities of living at Resurrection Power. Once you’ve reviewed, you’ll sign the residency agreement.

You will prepare for Your transition — You will be connected to the House Lead or CRS to coordinate your arrival at the house.  Begin gathering the necessary belongings for your move-in. If you have any specific needs before moving in, please let us know—we’re here to support you.

Commit to Recovery — Upon entering Resurrection Power, we expect all residents to follow the rules, be honest, and embrace the opportunity for change. Recovery is challenging, but with active participation and a willingness to grow, you will experience the rewards of transformation.
